8 Months Old...

I have an 8 month old! I can't believe it. Jace is just growing way too quickly. This past month he has mastered crawling (Even though he crawls like a monkey with his hands facing inwards) and quickly moved onto standing. I can't count the number of mommy cuddles I have to give him in a single day from falling and hitting his head on something. But I know he will learn. :) Here are just a few pictures from this morning!

On the Move...

Jace is officially on the move and crawling everywhere and using anything to stand. He started crawling at the 7 month mark and hasn't stopped moving since. I'm going to have my hands full with this little guy. He's into everything!

If mom works out, he needs to play with the weights.

He loves the door stoppers... until he breaks them! Yep... buh-bye door stopper in the kitchen.

He likes my closet... and chewing on mommy's clothes. 

He likes to crawl behind things and get stuck. Yep, stuck BEHIND the couch.

Here we go buddy... your toys!!! Apparently they aren't as interesting.

Labor Day Weekend

Over Labor Day Weekend, we went up to Pinetop with the Ross Family. It was such a sweet time to see the boys play together. It was relaxing, and we enjoyed the cooler weather. Lots of playing outside and taking walks.  We even gave the boys a bath in the sink, which was super cute.

Jace and Ember

Kristin and Ember were able to spend some time at our house this past Monday before we dropped them off at the airport. It was so fun seeing the two littles playing together. Jace liked to touch Ember's face and even pinched her cheek while I was taking a picture. Flirting already! 

They both liked the same book! Ember would pretend to give it to Jace and then take it back. It was so funny. 

We can't wait to have them over to play again! 

Fun Times

I am trying to get Jace to practice picking up things with his fingers. I have put puffs and banana on his tray to see what he would do.... and... he plays with it. He hits the high chair or if he does manage to get a piece in his hand, he puts his entire fist in his mouth and can't get the food in it. We will keep working on it.

Blake came over the other day so Jenn could go get her hair cut and colored. The boys are interacting so much more now. They would stare at each other. 

Blake even "pet" Jace on the head (more like hit him)... it was pretty funny. 

Weekend in Forest Lakes

This past weekend we went up to Forest Lakes. It was Jace's first time up at the cabin, and he did such a great job. He fought his naps a couple times, but he's never been a great napper, so I wasn't surprised. Other than that, he really did a great job! He loved being outside and looking around. We played in the grass, took walks, and he played in his bouncer. Matt and I brought up Bouchee Ball, and we played that every day with my parents. It was such a fun game. We can't wait for it to cool down so we can play at the park across the street from our house. It was a great weekend.
